Our systems include hardware and software from a variety of suppliers. For example, the camera systems which are the core of many of the systems sold by PixCellent are specially manufactured for us by EG&G Life Sciences Ltd (Cambridge, UK), the first manufacturer of cooled precision CCD cameras to be fully ISO 9001 certified. EG&G Life Sciences Ltd had manufactured state-of-the-art CCD imaging systems since its foundation in 1985 and was first to introduce many of the innovations that are now considered to be an essentail part of the performance requirements for professional imaging systems.
PixCellent Imaging Limited is able to undertake the design, development and manufacture of custom imaging systems including optical design, and development of specialist hardware and software solutions. The systems supplied by PixCellent Imaging Limited are integrated at our Cambridge facility and are able to call on much of the expertise available in the district.
